History of Odon Book

In 1981, in preparation for the Town's 100 year celebration, a group of individuals came together and dedicated hours and hours of their own time to research and document the rich history of Odon. The data came from the Knox and Daviess County Historical records, combined with cooperation of several individuals that provided information and photos. One of the many contributors was James E. Garten. Mr. Garten wrote the book "Clarksburg and Early Odon" which is housed in our Public Library. A special thanks goes out to Ursula Darlington for spending many hours and dedication of her own time in making this document available for the Town of Odon website. The entire History of Odon Book is available by downloading the PDF version by clicking here. You may need to download a FREE PDF Reader and can do so by clicking the image below.
