On behalf of the citizens of Odon, it is our pleasure to welcome you to the official website for the Town of Odon, Indiana. Founded in 1835, originally called Clarksburg, the name was changed to Odon in 1881.

Odon, a farming community, provides great neighborhoods, countless amenities and a friendly small town atmosphere. Odon is a great place to raise a family.

In addition, Odon is only a 12-mile commute from the Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center Naval Base and is home to many that work in the defense industry. 

Odon is in the center of one of the largest settlements of the Amish and conservative Mennonite in the Midwest.
